Those who know me a little know that Italy is my second home. It is the country I know in all seasons and all lights. I especially love it in low season, when there is more time for sauntering, for conversations with locals, for unrushed meals and, of course, for pictures!
This February, I was privileged to be able to fly back to my happy place. I visited the Lake Como region for the first time and was charmed by the villages of Varenna, Bellagio and Como itself. I also went back to Florence, where I used to spend my summers as a teen, for the first time in nearly 18 years!
It felt so rejuvenating to fill my lens and my heart with these old and new places. Since you loved my Italy in November collection, I thought I would present my new inspirations to you in this post. As usual, it's not only the "big landscapes" but also the tiny details that tugged on my sleeve.
I hope these scenes inspire you to (re)visit your happy places...and to add to your home decor this spring. The bilingual caption beneath each photo accompanies the print!
